Community Guidelines

ARCAIRA is a platform for creating and interacting with AI characters.

These guidelines explain what content is and is not allowed on the platform. They apply to public characters, character images, descriptions, personality, backstory, scenarios, starting messages, and other content shared through ARCAIRA.

Be respectful​

Do not create or share content intended to harass, threaten, degrade, or target other people.

Characters may have fictional conflicts, arguments, villains, or difficult personalities, but they should not be used to target real people with harassment or abuse.

Character images​

Character images must follow the same rules as all other content on ARCAIRA.

Do not upload images containing:

  • Sexual or pornographic content
  • Nudity intended to be sexual
  • Graphic gore
  • Extreme violence
  • Private or sensitive personal information
  • Hateful content intended to promote hatred
  • Content you do not have permission to use

Character images should reasonably represent the character they belong to.

Sexual content​

Sexual or pornographic content is not allowed on ARCAIRA.

This applies to:

  • Character images
  • Personality
  • Backstory
  • Scenario
  • Starting Message
  • Character descriptions
  • Public character information

Romantic characters and relationships are allowed, but they must not contain explicit sexual content.

Minors​

Sexual content involving minors is strictly prohibited.

This includes:

  • Real minors
  • Fictional minors
  • Characters presented as minors
  • Characters whose age is intentionally unclear in a sexual context

Do not sexualize childlike characters or attempt to avoid this rule by leaving a character's age unspecified.

Graphic violence​

Characters may include action, conflict, danger, or fictional violence.

However, content primarily focused on graphic gore, torture, mutilation, or extreme violence may be removed.

Harmful instructions​

Do not create characters primarily designed to provide instructions that could cause serious real-world harm.

This includes instructions for:

  • Serious violence
  • Self-harm
  • Dangerous weapons
  • Malware or cyber abuse
  • Illegal activity
  • Other activities that could cause serious harm

Fictional discussion of these subjects may be allowed when it is clearly part of a story and is not being used to provide actionable harmful instructions.

Hate and discrimination​

Do not create content intended to promote hatred or violence against people based on protected characteristics.

Characters may portray fictional villains, prejudice, historical settings, or difficult subjects when relevant to a story, but ARCAIRA must not be used to promote real-world hatred or targeted abuse.

Real people and impersonation​

Do not create characters designed to deceive users into believing they are communicating with the actual real person.

Characters inspired by celebrities, public figures, creators, or other real people should not be presented as official unless you have permission to do so.

Do not use another person's identity to impersonate them deceptively.

Private information​

Do not include private or sensitive information about another person without permission.

This includes:

  • Home addresses
  • Private phone numbers
  • Personal email addresses
  • Passwords
  • Authentication information
  • Financial information
  • Private account information
  • Other non-public personal information

Only upload or publish content that you have the right to use.

Do not claim ownership of another person's work or pretend that your character is officially associated with a company, creator, franchise, or rights holder when it is not.

Misleading characters​

A character's name, description, image, and other public information should reasonably represent what the character actually is.

Do not intentionally mislead users about the character's identity or purpose.

Public characters​

Public characters may be visible to other ARCAIRA users.

Before publishing a character, make sure its:

  • Name
  • Description
  • Image
  • Personality
  • Backstory
  • Scenario
  • Starting Message

follow these guidelines.

Private characters are also subject to ARCAIRA's safety rules.

Enforcement​

Content that violates these guidelines may be:

  • Hidden
  • Restricted
  • Removed
  • Made private
  • Subject to other moderation actions

Repeated or serious violations may result in restrictions on an account.

ARCAIRA may update these guidelines as the platform changes.
